TVS Raider Super Squad Editions: Deadpool & Wolverine Bikes Hit the Streets
TVS launches Deadpool and Wolverine-inspired Raider Super Squad Editions at Rs. 99,465, blending superhero flair with commuter style.
Hero MotoCorp has quietly rolled out an exciting update to its popular commuter lineup. The Xtreme 125R now comes in a single-seat variant, priced attractively at Rs 99,500 (ex-showroom). This move caters to urban riders seeking a blend of style, performance, and affordability without the need for a passenger seat.
The key change here is the removal of the pillion seat, giving the bike a sharper, more aggressive rear profile. Hero has also tweaked the grab rails to match this solo-rider focus.
Available in the same vibrant colors as the standard model, including Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sapphire Black, it keeps the LED projector headlamp and muscular tank design intact. This variant uses the IBS (Integrated Braking System) for safety, unlike the pricier ABS-equipped split-seat version.
Under the hood, it's the familiar 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a smooth five-speed gearbox.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a comfortable ride on city streets. Braking comes via a 276 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum with IBS.
The digital instrument cluster displays speed, fuel level, and trip info, while the 12-liter fuel tank promises decent range. Overall, it's a lightweight at 136 kg, making it nimble for daily commutes.
This launch underscores Hero's focus on versatile options for modern riders.
The single-seat Xtreme 125R is slotted at Rs 99,500, above the base IBS model at Rs 98,425 but below the split-seat ABS at Rs 1.02 lakh (all ex-showroom). This pricing makes it a smart pick for budget-conscious buyers.
It directly challenges segment leaders like the Honda SP 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS125. With its sporty aesthetics and reliable performance, Hero aims to capture more market share in the growing 125 cc category.
