Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved a historic milestone in July 2026, recording its highest monthly sales ever with a total of 1,42,985 units, combining both domestic and export figures. This marks a significant rise of 26 percent compared to July 2025, when the company sold 1,13,600 units.

Domestic Sales Drive Growth

A major driver of this achievement was the surge in domestic sales, which climbed 28 percent to 1,23,216 units from 96,029 in the same month last year. This represents Suzuki's strongest performance in the Indian market for a single month. Exports also contributed with 19,769 units, reflecting a 13 percent improvement over the 17,571 units exported in July 2025. Domestic sales made up almost 86 percent of the total, while export sales comprised the remaining 14 percent.

The faster growth in local sales meant the overall increase stayed much closer to the domestic growth rate than the more moderate rise in exports. Overall, Suzuki posted a 26 percent sales boost compared to the previous year.

Spare Parts Revenue and Customer Initiatives

Suzuki also reached a new peak in its spare parts business, earning Rs. 102.9 crore in July 2026, which represents a 23 percent year-on-year growth. Taking into account both vehicle and spare parts sales, the month set new records across the board for the company.

Sharing his thoughts on the achievement, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, stated, “July 2026 has been a landmark month for Suzuki Motorcycle India, with our sales touching an all-time high of 1.42 lakh units. Every vehicle sold represents a customer’s trust in our brand. We deeply value that trust and remain committed to enhancing every aspect of their ownership journey, from purchase to after-sales service. We thank our customers, dealer partners, and suppliers for their continued support and confidence in Suzuki.”

During the month, Suzuki organized two major customer engagement programs: the Gixxer Pit Stop events in Prayagraj, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, where biking enthusiasts had the chance to test ride the Gixxer series; and the Access Mileage Contest in Hisar, allowing customers to experience the scooter’s fuel efficiency firsthand.

Suzuki's Journey in India

The Japanese manufacturer has been active in India since February 2006, operating from its Kherki Daula plant in Gurugram, Haryana. The facility manufactures 125 cc scooters, motorcycles in the 150 cc and 250 cc segments, as well as a premium Big Bike range for the local market. The Access 125 remains the brand’s top-selling model, and an electric version of the scooter has also been introduced in recent years.
